Underneath politics: nothing

vday_londra.jpg
Suddenly politics has got 10 years older. It is nude in front of citizens with its wrinkles, its face cream, crow’s feet round the eyes, its journalists. Its decrepit words that have trouble leaving its mouth. They seem like the bubbles in the comic strips. They are no longer listened to. The surreal display of politicians on Sundays is almost to be pitied. Whoever is watching TV hopes that a messenger will come up to D’Alema or the psycho-dwarf and whisper in their ear: “The party is over, you don’t have to be ridiculous any more.”
The outline is always the same. Tried and tested.
The leader talks to a group of people. He’s serious. If he is in the opposition he asks the Government for: “Definite responses!”. If he’s on the Government side he announces: “Precise commitments”.
Yesterday evening on the TV:
Topo Gigio Veltroni talked about the annihilation of the RAI Board of Directors, enthusiastic applause for such a timely and courageous proposal. Emotional embrace on the stage with Rutelli.
Cesa spoke about the family. Applause from Casini’s families. Emotional embrace on the stage with De Mita, the new tutor of the young people of the PD.
Bossi threatens Prodi with 10 million people from the Po valley (and then they call me anti-political…), applause from the 300 present in Venice. The TV camera frames the pair of tourists who are feeding the pigeons. Emotional embrace on the stage with Calderoli who rewards him with a fluffy pig.
If you knock on the door, there’s no one there. Only chitter chatter and TV.

E TUTTO RITORNO' NELLA NORMA (PARTE 2)

Tutto e’ di nuovo nella norma. E’ il trionfo del qualunquismo. L’Italiano lamenta: e’ sempre colpa di qualcun altro. PIOVE! Governo ladro.

The Grillo's earthquake is seriously worrying all the italian politicians (from left to right parties) and this is a good news. Since the 8th of September, the V-day date, all the news given on tv or on newspapers are increasing the attention level on these facts that involve at least three hundred thousands of citizens that have signed his requests. And all without the help of tv and newspaper. Go on Grillo, we're with you and with all that want to open the italian parliament to a new deal.

Excuse me if my comment isn't about the content & meaning of the article, but only on the English form :
I think it isn't correct to say "Suddenly politics has got 10 years older" [= topic: "Underneath politics: nothing"], meaning "è invecchiata di 10 anni".

Hello everyone,
Maybe I fell asleep, or maybe it’s in the work and in progress through the infinite number of committee and meeting?
Where is the Law on “Conflict of Interest?”
Where is the withdrawal of Italian Troops from everywhere?
Where is the 280 pages of promises?
Where are the “Privatizations?”
Every State run enterprise is collapsing?
Alitalia, Anas, Autostrade, Rail System, Health System etc.
The only enterprise making money for the Government are the one gauging the people?
1) Eni, Enel, Rete Gas ?
2) Banks (Mr. Bersani de-regulation completely ignored?)
3) Rai (You pay for it they manage it, how well is under everyone eye?)
Rest my case, the clock is ticking and people is getting restless!
Meanwhile due to an overwhelming work load, Mr Mastella has booked a weeklong vacation break through the Senate Travel Agency at the Mirage Hotel in Vegas.
Obviously with family and relatives, and the omnipresent Security Service provided for such an indispensable Government figure (Italy wouldn’t survive without him?).
Cost and schedule not available to the tax payer, just make sure Your Credit Card has no limit on it!
Thanks

Ciao a tutti,

Beppe can’t be said to be anti-politics as fighting against current politicians IS politics. But politics is not bad in itself: it all depends on contents. And Beppe is right: current mainstream politicians in Italy are truly empty and false.
Beppegrillo.it is becoming a Political Party? Well “Political Party” is the name given, among others also by the Italian Constitution, to the organizations through which citizens contribute to determine national politics. So, my friends, Beppegrillo.it has been a Political Party for many years already! But this is not a bad thing again: “Party – Partito” is just a name and the “good” and “evil” judgement must depend on contents and intentions!
So what is the intention of Beppegrillo.it organization? To change Italy for the best?, to break with the past? Beppe we are ready! .. to work, to study, to write, to listen, to participate and to act.
