Nuclear industry spies
EDF is being accused of spying on the anti-nuclear groups in Europe. EDF is the French nuclear energy company. Sarkozy is the company’s international ambassador. The news item was reported on the Mediapart website and by the Financial Times. EDF’s former Security Manager, Pierre Francois, has admitted that he personally arranged for the surveillance of Greenpeace bases in "France and in Europe". According to the allegations, it would appear that Francois used the services of certain investigators in order to hack into the personal computer used by Yannick Yadot, Director of Greenpeace in France. Certain e-mails, data and files were copied and transmitted. The operation was allegedly carried out by a former secret agent by the name of Thierry Lhoro. The editor of the website Intelligence Online, Philippe Vasset, states that: "The question that arises is just how much, if anything, the French Government itself and its Intelligence Services knew about what was being done ". Pierre Francois was suspended following an internal investigation was conducted within EDF, which has denied all responsibility for these actions.
Nuclear power is anything but economical as well as hazardous, even to the health of anyone has the temerity to object to it. This blog will be following the investigations closely. Especially in order to protect the interests of the Italian population. As a matter of fact, EDF is the company that is due to export nuclear power plants to Italy with the logistical support of the psychodwarf.
Greenpeace Italia has carried out a blitz on Scanzano Jonico in Basilicata, a supposed nuclear waste storage site. He has closed up the rock salt pits with concrete plugs. He has converted the area into a playground. The kids are the new partisans. The DVD entitled “No Nuke” will be available for viewing on this blog within one month.
"The European objectives for 2020 as regards renewable energy sources and energy savings are worth three times as much as the nuclear energy plan proposed by the Government and will indeed create employment for at least 200 thousand people. 10-15 times the ancillary employment created by nuclear energy." "Scanzano Jonico risks to have the deposit of the nuclear cinders. We have gone on the projected site for the deposit of nuclear cinders, where of the wells are. In a night we have cemented them and turned into a park for Children to play. Because we don't want that they play (marketing, companies... etc...) with the future of our children!"
April 21 st 2009 -- [Report of the action of an activist of Greenpeace]--"This night about fifteen activists have entered the site, they have 'closed' the wells with cement and they have stretched banners with the messages "Stop nuclear folly", "No nuclear cinders to Scanzano", "we don't play with the future of our children."
The history of the site for the nuclear deposit of Scanzano Jonico is long. The subsoil of the whole zone is characterized by the presence of 15 million tons of salgemma. But it is not the mine of salt to arouse interest how much rather the project to throw to sea the salgemma and to use the caverns as deposit. In 2003 the government chose the site of Scanzano as national deposit for all the Italian radioactive trash. After one month, following a popular mobilization unprecedented, the government decided to remove the reference to Scanzano Jonico for the cinders and to submit the decision of the choice of the deposit to a Committee ever constituted. In short, the management of the radioactive cinders in Italy still remains the problem.
Today the government - in the craziness of the reopening nuclear marketing in Italy is proposing to the Parliament a Soviet or South American strategy ‘founded on an authoritarian and "military"approach to the choices of location of the sites and management of the cinders, contrary to the European directives. With today's action we ask that the site of Scanzano Jonico is restored. The wells must be closed as soon as possible and the Region Basilicata has to publicly announce that it is not available to suffer any nuclear deposit on his own territory.
We ask that the management military ‘of the nuclear one ends and opens a democratic discussion and participated on the energetic future of the Country. After 60 years of search, all the problems of the nuclear business (desaster) remains still unsolved: from the management of the cinders to the safety of the fittingses, from the narrowness of the resources of Uranium to the tall costs of construction. Look at the desaster of Niger and Many other catastrophes caused by Uranium market.
