The crisis no longer exists and if it existed it wasn’t a true crisis. Just a tiny crisis. All thanks to our government, to Italian banks, to “Noemi boy” and to minister Tremorti.
The unemployed, those laid off, the business people who have closed up shop, the creditors that are no longer getting their invoices paid not even 240 days late, are Italians who are mistaken. Who are not sufficiently committed. They are folk, perhaps scum, who form a part of the tens of thousands of precarious workers in the private sector who have been allowed to stay at home. Or of the 60,000 precarious workers in the public administration who will be sacked starting from 01 July 2009, and the up to 120 thousand in 2010 and the more than 200 thousand in 2011. Or of the hundreds of thousands of laid-off workers still being paid, but not for much longer, from a special fund that has grown by 864% in a year. Or of the millions of unemployed whose number is increasing in 2009, and that will continue to go up in 2010 as reported by the European Commission.
Why is the Italy boat not sinking yet? The reply is simple: because the Public Debt is going up. They are getting us into debt. We have reached 1,700 billion euro. The State is paying about 80 billion a year in interest. There’s a threshold before the collapse, but we haven’t got there yet. Meanwhile, what is needed by the State has grown by 17 billion euro in the first three months of 2009: 48 billion euro compared to 31 billion in 2008. The expenditure is going up and the money coming in, is going down. The tax authorities have taken in 4 billion euro less in the first two months of the year. The waste in the public administration is today’s topic. The Region of Sicily will take on 500 extra directors. One for every 8.4 office workers. Are we men or directors?
The unhappy decrease of the GDP continues regardless. Now we are at -4.4% compared to 2008. Tremorti is optimistic. He estimates that there will be a slight worsening of a few decimal points in the annual position. However, as everyone knows, including him, it will be much worse. According to Tremorti we will start to pick up in 2010.

...
They will never give up (but is it in their interests?). Neither will we.

Words like freedom, democracy, peace, Christianity, country, security, order, justice mouthed by people like Berlusconi, Bossi, La Russia, Calderoli, Bonanni, Lupo, Moron and all the rest are a menace to humanity. Intercepting, sending back to Lybia the poorest of the poor of this earth, while denying many of them political asylum is nothing short of the beginning of a final solution. In 1939, ports up and down the coasts of North and South America denied refugee status to thousands of European Jews escaping Nazi persecutions. A few years later millions of Jews died in Hitler's gas chambers. The point? Italians may have marked the beginning of a slippery slope plunging into a mental disposition of hate towards migrants thus making them be more open to extreme solutions. Sometimes people like the aforementioned makes one wonder whether they know that beyond the shadow of their steeples, cities, villages there is a world -and a universe for that matter. One would think that now and then they would find the guts to go to the window and look and realize that even a child can see that what he sees below is not for him alone to use and that, try as they may, only a minute part of the incoming human tsunami can be kept off. That these guys don't have a clue about all of this tattle the high degree of their obtuseness.

What can I say?

If I said that in Europe we are governed by a bunch of moronic psychopaths, it would still sound as if I was paying a compliment to those mobsters in charge.

Incompetent, inept, ignorant, arrogant, presumptuous, ugly, stupid, rude, illiterate, would only be wasted adjectives, and still more than a flattery for such a bunch of oxen who dare name themselves representatives of the people.

It has been years they have taken their mouths full of crazy and insignificant political blabla.

Even a kid at 3 can utter more coherent words, than those idiots could.

Just recently, a German politician, asked if he at all knew what he was signing at a gathering, answered candidly: "...if I had to read through all that crap I am given to sign daily, my day would never end...".

See? Documents, laws, rules and regulations are just crap to them.
So why should we have to pay income taxes?
And by the same token, why should we pay custom expenses when ordering abroad?
We could also not read all that "crap" that daily is submitted on our desks, and which daily, very obediently and swiftly we make an effort to read and evade...
Only, that if we, the common people were to do so, we would be imprisoned at light speed...
This League of Extraordinary Moronic Gentlemen, they just get a little tapping on the hands.
The worst that can happen to them is a reshuffling of offices they hold.
One really should be a Politician to fully appreciate how beautiful corruption and carelessness, as well as a good dose of total irresponsibility can actually be.
Some must even be overly affected by Altsheimer's disease, when they achieve to utter phrases like "New World Order".
They probably don't even remember who conceived that idea first...
Does a name like Josef Goebbels ring a bell?
Anyone?
Who wanted a forced "globalization" with no rules and no limitations?
Does the name of Adolf Hitler come to mind?
Right you are...
Besides, who apart me knows who sustained Hitler's Germany until 1939?
All the Western world.
Amazed?
Every Bank, every Insurance Company and every major Industry of that time sustained it, since apparently, Germany was the key to stop the spreading of Communism throughout the world.
Guess what?
It is not finished there...
You mention the Nuremberg trials?
A farce for the masses...
The majority of the true guilty parties, had already found refuge elsewhere, far before the End of the war.
And who did finance it?
The victims they had caused to be murdered.
They looted everywhere for this purpose.
Moreover, the Western block, as well as the Eastern block did freely give new identities to convinced Nazis.
There has never been a thorough deNazification at all. It was not in the best interest of the Victors, who now just sought to capitalize on their winnings.
Hence, those Nazis remained so to the end of their lives, reinforced in their beliefs by feeling again "useful".
Oh, I forgot, the same applies to Italian Fascists and other Fascists throughout Europe.
They just "adapted" and "submerged" in the mainstream.
Naturally, they all, Nazi and Fascists, had a long time to plan ahead.
Today's results can be perfectly seen, if one cares to look deeper than the surface.
If only people would study history a bit more carefully.
Divide and Conquer!
The Roman Empire.
The Fourth Reich is just beyond the bend.
Crazy you say?
Well, yes. In fact, it was exactly what they all said until 1932 in Germany and even earlier in the 20th Century in Italy...
How amazing that we can still be so quiet and feel secure in our belief that this won't happen again.
There are many experts who claim that what happened then cannot possibly be repeated nowadays.
Good for them.
I only hope they will never be deported...
Because if this happens, it will be their greatest disappointment in their careers.

Now that I have vented my poisonous bile, I can tell you that the situation everywhere, not just in Italy, is on the tip of a very dangerous peak.
Every bump on the road can be the end of what we have known until now...
One can only hope in people like Obama, although he too has just limited powers in what he can really do.
He is no God, and just a man.
It takes many, many others to form a curtain against corruption and greed.
Alas, not so in Europe, if I can call it Europe, this bunch of egotistical and megalomaniac knot of tiny Nations.

Many have perhaps forgotten how the United States of America were born.
First of all, let me clarify one thing: the people had nothing to do with it.
It was decided by a bunch of Representatives after long deliberations and discussions.
The papers were readied, signed and sealed.
That's how the United States of America was born.

There was no Referendum (also because the populace was in the majority illiterate and could therefore not be taken into account).

Also, the United States were not just formed through economical agreements alone.
The Dollar, as the official currency, was imposed, and again nobody was asked whether he or she did agree with it.

When will the fathers of the so called European Union understand this?
Or don't they have enough guts to take a simple decision?

Besides, have they at all considered why the United States are called the United States at all?

Because each State is sovereign.
It was agreed very early on (actually it was Benjamin Franklin's original idea that decided the fate of the future of this new Nation).
By convincing the first States of the Union that they would not have lost their sovereignty in how they managed commerce and governed themselves, as long as they did abide every now and then to the decisions made at first in Philadelphia first, and Washington later.

Is it so difficult to understand how this came to pass?
So why has Europe so much trouble to come together?
No one will ever dispute the sovereignty of the single States, as long as they actually identify themselves with Europe as United States of Europe.

Remember the old axiom: united we stand, divided we fall.
Are our politicians so stupid as not to see how their inactivity in this matter is damaging?

It is not the decision of the peoples of Europe, it is their representative who have to show some courage and yes, some spine, in order to achieve this.

So many even dispute the fact of a centralized language.
Why?
Canada for instance, for better or for worse, has opted for a bi-lingual government, part in English and part in French.

Northern Europe (Sweden, Norway, Denmark, The Netherlands and even Finland) have long chosen English as their second language and this, without being pushed to it.

So why shouldn't the Southern States (like Italy, Spain, Yugoslavia, Greece and others) just opt for the French language?

No one has ever said that Italian or Spanish, or even the various dialects could not be practiced anymore.
All that is asked is a slight adapting to the realities of this world.

English has established itself throughout the world as the financial and commercial language and French, many centuries ago (at least since the Middle Ages, managed to become the diplomatic language of the world, still practiced to this day in some Nations.

So, why the heck is Europe still struggling against it?

I believe that Europe will never fully exist, if we do not come to a certain intelligent agreement and leave some heavy burdens of the past behind us and restructure it for the future.

We cannot constantly dwell in the past, as glorious and appealing as it may appear.
It is time for Europe to finally grow up and finally show a bit of that wisdom it always claims to have.

Apparently centuries of history have not taught the Europeans how important it is to hold together, especially in a bleak period like the one we are living in today.

Why is it that the Romans found it so important to expand? Why did the Celts? And why did the Goths, the Franks and all the subsequent dominant societies?
Why Napoleon? Why, for this matter, even Beethoven?
Ah yes, and why Hitler (although from a totally false perspective)?
All this was done for nothing?
All the butchered ancestors, all the massacred soldiers and civilians throughout the ages... haven't they fought for something?
Or did they just die for nothing...?

Don't we owe them some respect and a true tribute to their sacrifices?
What use are all those monuments to martyrdom when we go on as if nothing has ever happened?
Are we such egomaniacs, so little, so insignificant and so shallow as to trample over what our fathers, our grandfathers and generations before had to endure, in order for us to be what we are today?

Aren't we a bit ashamed?

Is it again the time of a new Fall of the Roman Empire? Can't we just crumple our sleeves up, take heart, and really start to build something of value here?

Do we really need to go through a new form of Fascism? Do we really need a new World War?

Can't we just come up with fresher and more revolutionary ideas (and by revolutionary I mean the word of revolution of a wheel - turning the wheel).
Why can't we abandon a world of greed and avarice and embrace a world of knowledge, culture and equilibrium?

Let's face it, there will never be a truly just social system. But we can at least try.
Instead of Democracy (which in many ways has become the dictatorship of the Rich and Wealthy), based as it is on what one has, instead of what one is, and therefore has become obsolete as a word, why can't we work toward a Meritocracy.

A true and sound Meritocracy would mean that those who have something to offer and are willing to share it with mankind, will have some form of compensation.
This by no means would mean that others would be abandoned.
The others, those who cannot, or will not should be equally compensated, but at a standard level.
Finished the days of the very Rich against the very Poor.
No one has ever been asked to be born and therefore has not even been asked if he knows at the moment of conception whether or not he will be a great worker or a lazy bum.
In many cases it depends simply on the living conditions surrounding the family, and these may be favorable, or just plain lousy.
Why then punish those who never had a chance or a choice in such matters?
No, in a well balanced society, no one will ever have to starve and instead will be able to conduct a decent life even if he or she doesn't work, or if he or she has decided to do something different.
Those instead, who really want to contribute should be compensated appropriately and decently, but without overdoing it as it is the case these days.
In this manner we would have also partially solved the problem of crime for money or for food.
Oh, and I forgot, there won't be money as we know it today.
There will be a centralized authority, named for its confirmed wisdom and vision, who will take charge of such matters, distributing a form of virtual credits, with which one could lead his normal life without always carrying around a purse or a wallet.
Forms of personal credit balance control could be available to this person through a form of credit calling center in digital form at home.

I hope someone out there is listening to what I am saying, since I am so fed up to hear how impossible changing things is.
I really hope that some form of entity listens and finally acts upon my suggestions.

Failing to do so will in the long run signify our social suicide.
But then again, who am I to suggest anything?
I am a tiny idiot, an insignificant little speck of dust in the Universe and who will ever hear what a speck of dust has to say...

No, go on doing your stuff as always, cross your fingers and let's hope that the worst never happens.

Good luck to you all...
