The little law

The little Formigoni Law
(1:29)

The sign of the times is in the turning of concepts upside down. The laws of the State are an example. For the word “law”, the dictionary says: “Every act of the State that fixes rules of behaviour that are binding for the citizens.” Its authentic interpretation has been changed to: “Every action by the State that is favourable to one or more private persons that have the possibility to have it approved”. The saying: “Once you’ve got the law, you can find a way round it” has been transformed into: “Once you’ve got way round, you can find the law”.
Formigoni is not eligible by law (165/2004 art.2) as he has had more than two consecutive mandates. This is stated by the emeritus president of the Constitutional Court. These are incontrovertible facts. On Sunday, he said it on Sky. The response of the presenter was “They will do a law.” She said that without irony, just as though it was a normal thing to do a law because there has been a violation of another one. In the common feeling, the law has become an object of luxury, a yacht, a “villa Certosa”. Anyone who has the money can allow themselves to have it. Crime is phagocytised by the law, chewed and re-chewed like chewing gum and then spat out for going beyond the time frame.
In emergency situations like the regional elections for Polverini and for Formigoni, excluded from the lists, it’s necessary to have an “ad hoc” law to screw the Italians better and to get by unobserved, a “little law”. A “little law” that has the adjective that makes it sweet with the flavour of prunes, is less “in your face” to violate election law. If Formigoni and Polverini are re-admitted thanks to a “little law”, the elections in Lombardy and in Lazio will be transformed into a “farce” according to the law.
Formigoni has declared that “date stamps are of no use” and that he is a “candidate who has everything in order”. He sings and dances all by himself. The law has become a private fact. It does not regulate the relationship between people, but it defines the relationship of force. Formigoni didn’t manage to collect enough valid signatures (514 out of 3,935). He’s competing for his fourth term of office, for a “formigoniano” twenty year period that is worse than the fascist one. Furmigùn has reduced Lombardy to a cement super-highway, tumours and hospitals. He is under investigation for pollution and responsibility for not having kept emissions down below the levels allowed by law. He celebrates the inauguration of supermarkets. He has destroyed the “parco di Gioia” (one of the few parks in Milan) for the new skyscraper for the region. The law is always on his side, and if it isn’t like that they’ll do a tailor-made one.
The law does not allow for ignorance, but it promotes folk like Formigoni and Polverini. Parliament has been privatised by the parties. It is thus natural that the parties have privatised the laws. They will never give up (but is it in their interests?). Neither will we.
