The antiberlusconian professionals

They invited me to a public meeting with Berlusconi. I refused. I’m not happy to talk about the past, of advertising holograms of politics. After that I thought about it. I saw the usual headlines in the newspapers, the usual declarations of politicians pro and contra Berlusconi with not a scrap of idea about the future, about programmes, about analyses of problems. In the streets against Berlusconi. Let’s boycott Berlusconi, Berlusconi in prison. Berlusconi out of the government. Let Napolitano (the very person) intervene against Berlusconi. And then slowly but surely, every aspect of the sick society, from education, to research, to the environment, to pensions, blamed on a little 74-year old tarred man. I kept on thinking how long this puppet theatre has been going on for and who is winning in the “Great Berlusconian Alibi” in which we are living, obviously, apart from Berlusconi. The ones who are winning are the professionals of “antiberlusconism”. Politicians without an iota of an idea apart from that of being in Opposition against Berlusconi, who are nourished by the ones who are fighting. Without Berlusconi, they wouldn’t even exist. Many journalists, especially the ones that publish their books under Berlusconi’s “mondadorian” banner and who receive a salary even thanks to the public financing generously supplied by the Berlusconi government. The “beautiful-water philosophers” who in the past held Craxi in high esteem, who create one front after another to fight Berlusconism.
The parties, the media and the political proposal (always that: the banishing of the devil) are by now reduced to Berlusconi. His double, his clone with an opposite sign, exists as long as he exists. Berlusconi is the effect and not the cause of the crisis in which we are living, an all-round crisis: moral, social, ethical, economic, belonging to the nation. It’s easier to blame the crisis on a single person and it’s also more worthwhile in terms of elected positions and the wallet of the individual.
The antiberlusconian industry is cross-eyed by nature, it can clearly see the filthy stuff done by Berlusconi, but, for example, it doesn’t remember about De Benedetti and the destruction of Olivetti, one of his companies, and of the regional councils of the Opposition of which whole chunks were in prison. It attacks whoever it wants for the conflict of interests, but it considers it right and fitting that Scalfari, who has made it his battle horse to have a furious battle with no fear against the psycho-dwarf, is writing for a Berlusconi company and with the sales of his stuff (he too sells a bit) he is contributing to the wealth of the President of the Council. Political life has been reduced to factions, to “Guelfi and Ghibellini” who go together to the restaurant in the evening or who make courtesy telephone calls to each other. In the TV debates, the parts are assigned beforehand, berlusconians usually on the right and antiberlusconians on the left. The debate always has the same outcome: nothing.
With me or against me. On the Left or on the Right. No one accepts the responsibility of having made a mistake, of a proposal that was not made or that was forgotten, of a law that was a mistake. Berlusconi will pass and with him the full-time antiberlusconians. They will never give up (but is it in their interests?). Neither will we.

This is a really important subject. It should be forming part of a major and lively current political discussion; and no longer just amongst the Italian public.
The thing is, it's not just Italy at risk any more; it's the planet.
To have this blog in English is really helpful, but many of us English speaking residents, with a particular concern (some even having possibly useful political experience of an 'alternative' kind) have a lot of catching up to do.
Obviously we can't avoid the pro and anti berlusconism - and neither should we - but BG is correct in bringing to public attention the fact that even recent history is increasingly forgotten, with new voters left politically rootless as a result of this information being (intentionally?) ignored by the hijacked media.
I've been looking for morally and attractively successful teams of politicos at work. Besides this one (about which I know very little) I've only found Vendola's.
I'm sure I'm not alone in wishing to be filled in - in wishing that there was indeed, an alternative source of information. I'd like to know, for example, the stories behind the names mentioned in the above article. And I'd like to know more about Beppe Grillo's team - and where I can find out about other (so far peripheral?) positive group activity. Because (as BG has already implied) it's groups, not individuals, that matter. And it's groups of morally complementary groups that inform and power proper political parties.
I'd like this information to be made dramatically visible, permanently available and regularly updated.
How otherwise, can people such as me, together with first-time voters, some with a selective, effectively disenfranchised form of Alzheimer's disease - and the whole world - bring ourselves usefully up to date?
I can't vote in national elections, but at least I'd like to take a better-informed part in this essential, planetarily-relevant debate.

What a FUCKING STUPID country that Italy is.
3 Fiat workers were suspended, a judge says they should be allowed back to work, Fiat says no.
And the whole nation is following this little misshap.
Ok up to now - it's just the usual haggle between workers, unions and the bosses.
BUT !!!!!
All Italian press today have reported that :
The CEO of FIAT, states that it is time to end the 'owners-bosses against the workers battle' in Italy..... You what ?
Marchionne has invented hot water..... ... but .. what is his message ?
That the workers shut up and the bosses do whatever they like ?
sheesh.
Furthermore.......
all Hitlersconi forces, his pre election army, and blow-job ministresses are now being called the "Promoters of Freedom".
Whaaaaaat ?
... there is scarcity of freedom in Italy ?
Of course there is - due to Hitlersconi, his personal made-to-fit laws and especially the one on silencing the media reporting phone tapping... which everyone has now forgotten because his emminence Hitlersconi has other problems.
And him and his thieving cronies call themselves the promoters of freedom ?
For fucks sake ITALIANI ... WAKE UP!
Or grow up.
Imagine Tony Blair going for another re-election bid and labelling his party "The Promoters of Freedom"
99% of the British population would laugh themselves stupid and 101% would not vote for him.
In Italy, both for 30% of the population and for 99% of the media this is BIG news.
Berlusconi and his merry band of thieves are promoting freedom.
Italians - you deserve to be kicked out not only of the EU, but from the whole civilized world and should be renegated to Abyssinia or another inconspicuous 4th world country.
.... and if in the upcoming elections which will be sooner than I can say Hitlersconi - if you re-elect Berlusconi and his amici ladroni - then your whole country should go and rot in hell and not come back for .. oh .. say 50 years.
