D'Alema President of the Republic?

image.jpg

The positions of leader of the Lower House and the Senate have been sorted out, they’ll last for one parliamentary term which is expected to be brief. The PDminusL has played the only card they had left, they played the "fig leaf". Franceschini and Ms Finocchiaro weren’t digestible by anyone, not even the party members. Boldrini and Grasso are thus continuing to follow the line already established by Doria and Ambrosoli. It’s fantastic! The PDminusL parliamentarians didn’t manage to come up with a candidate. They have no trust in themselves, especially inthemselves. They know they are unpresentable and so they always have to present someone else. They are in need of a bit of compassionate conservatism.
Now we’ve got another two positions: the President of the Council and the President of the Republic, both fundamental for Italy’s future. The President of the Republic in fact, stays in power for seven years (a period that stretches across more than one parliamentary term) and he has the powers of a monarch.
The PDL’s candidate and the one suppported by a part (a big part?) of the PDminusL is Massimo D'Alema. That’s not official, or even unofficial, but it’s very plausible. Don’t you believe that? Even I didn’t believe it. Super Maxipowers for D'Alema?
Article 87 of the Constitution gives the President the command of the Armed Forces, the power to preside over the “Consiglio superiore della magistratura” {Council of Magistrates} (also given by article 104), the power to pardon offenders and to commute criminal penalties. Article 88 allows him to dissolve both Houses of Parliament. According to article 90, he is not responsible for his actions while he is carrying out his functions, apart from high treason or an attack on the Constitution. He can choose five life senators and distort the will of the voters. According to article 92, the President appoints the President of the Council of Ministers. He can (article 126) dissolve the Regional Council and remove the President of the Junta. Furthermore, he can appoint a third of the members of the Constitutional Court (article 135). Finally, according to article 278 of the criminal code, he’s like an other-worldly being: “Anyone who offends the honour or the prestige of the President of the Republic is punished with imprisonment for a period of one to five years.
The candidature of D'Alema would be inadmissible for the general public. A match in a hay stack. The country would not be able to stand seven years of mess ups. To prevent trouble, an early denial, even an outraged one for the "unfounded rumours", would be very welcome.

Ho appena letto un articolo che mi fa impazzire di rabbia per le fregnacce che scivono a proposito di Grillo ed il M5S. Come si puo ribattere tanta ignoranza?

Caro Beppe Grillo,
I have always been a supporter of LEGA NORD but not as Bossi general point of views (which presently all Bossi family should be dumped into trash having offended my trust) – but as pure Federalism as in Switzerland, Germany, North America, etc systems which are showing since ages their full satisfactory functionality. Italy country is too big for Italians mentality. Italians do not careless of their own neighbour, important to take advantage of any situation in spite of anyone. Italians are not patriotic as our president thinks with deep illusion (only when Italy football team win a contest or Ferrari win a world Championship…are patriotic - I repeat only when they win not even second!!) Italian infantile organization do not allow people to vote while are temporary travelling for business, for vacations or are hospitalized, just in those 48 hours time for polling (other at abroad with long absence from Italy somehow yes in a debatable and not transparent way..). This time I would have given my preference to you (trip abroad) – but I will keep it for the next round with all respect of Lega Nord regarding Federalism fighting. I am leaving few hundreds meters from Swiss border and Switzerland is my point of reference. We should follow in many points this country inclusive any kind of referendum online which show are the people the decision maker or not few debatable guys in a messy Parliament. Higher is power in politics or any other public positions , higher must be the frequencies to change the people to avoid corruption, excessive state aid, etc. Immediately it must be cut-off party public funding, 300 deputies are more than enough to represent all Parliament and these ones should not exceed a certain yearly wage. We have e deep public debt (2022 Mio. Euro?) – so a normal small Company in red figure would fire the most expensive employees in a second – but Italian Gov´t? We still keep person like Attilio Befera with 300-400,000 or even more euro per year with benefits, I am positive replacing him with a fresh student jobless from University with less experience but with a compensation 3 times inferior, he will work more efficiently, we have a non-sense dictatorial Equitalia, we had Monti who in less of 12 months overtook you as comic/dramatic audience, 9,500 districts with same nr of mayors, 9,500 teams of council members, which can be easily unified more than 40% to save costs, etc. I am really disgusted what is going on in Italy which I do believe I have strong doubt is still nr 1 in the ranking of the third worldwide countries!! Beppe I wish you a good luck to reach your targets and to obtain what you are daily fighting during your public performances against this lousy Italian and very costly politic bureaucracy. Watch out young people who surround you (grillini) which could be stimulated to stab you in the back like Emperor Julius Caesar to take advantage on politic benefits. Please do not listen to those people who are trying to psychological destroying you – you are on the right way….next polling you will surely get another 5% higher supporters at least.

Beppe in my opinion you're playng a very bad poker game , remember millions voted for the movement not you , they want results and only results not useless polemic , take a moment of reflection , you risk to lose that consensus you with great determination and fatigue deservedly gained

So wassup ?

up til now we've had Berlusconi, the most democratic person in Italy's history [my ass],
who got jobs for people in parliament who were and are complete morons and who would not have gotten toilet-cleaning jobs in any other EU country.

Then we've had the left, the right, the center and anywhere in-between, from turncoats to outright thieves who were in compliance with the rest of the shitty politicians, who in the last 20 years have destroyed the country.

And everyone is getting pissed off that Beppe Grillo is a dictator ?

You have to be kidding.

Without Grillo, we would still have Berlusconi, the P2…3…4, mafiosi in government, whores in government and the niece of Mubarak being really the niece of Mubarak,
and a completely collusional Left/CenterLeft.
And the Five Star Movement would not have come into existance and Italians would have no different future to hope for.

Given this choice ….. who would you choose ?

The firm hand of Grillo [ trying to keep the elected Five star movement parliamentarians on a steady and coherent course] ….. or the same old chaos ?

You people REALLY need a proper dictator [ Stalin anyone ? ] to bring you back to your senses after 20 years of stupid television and even more stupid politicians.

Wake up assholes!

Didn’t they do enough for the season? In a branch, a majority promoted Alice in refugee land. In the other branch, a bunch of votes helped to promote the lead prefect: now, these voter fellows should be outta here. Poor us, everyone, if you do a lot of thinking.
