Ghino di Tacco’s Motorways

Ghino di Tacco

The Court of Cassation (third and last level of judgment in Italy) has sentenced a motorist to 8 months in prison and 1000 euro because he went through a pay station reserved for those who possess a Viacard without having subscribed to Viacard. At the first trial he was found not guilty, then, given the seriousness of the crime, it was considered necessary to go on and take the case to an appeal at the Court of Cassation. Both lost.
Hit out at one, implacably, with prison, to educate a hundred.
I’m asking the convicted gentleman to send me the judicial documents with the reasoning for the conviction. I would like to publish them.
No magistrate is intervening on Telepass that eliminates the costs of the cashier, and gets the money into the current account of the motorway concessionaire straight away.
And in the meantime the costs for the motorists increase, it is in fact a service that is paid for. If the Telepass reduces the costs to the concessionaires and increases those of the user, how are we to define the concessionaires? Is there an appropriate term in the civil code or in the criminal code? The industrial revolution, with the mass production of goods, lowered the costs of products. The Italian-style informatics revolution cuts the costs of labour and increases the prices of the services. The Telepass should be free, at least that.
Our motorways are a timeless building site, from January to December. How many fatal accidents have happened because of work being carried out? Has any concessionaire ever paid out? If a motorway has 3 lanes, why don’t they reduce the toll if it becomes just a single one because of maintenance work?
And why is there not a refund if because of the concessionaire you have to queue for 20 kilometres? The concessionaires have good lawyers and great lobbies. The citizen, if all goes well, his salary. That’s why it’s him that finishes up behind bars.

Piero, I agree with your msg.

Grillo seems to be railing against one thing or the other rather incoherently...

Dear 'Siero Panna' I hate to say this but I agree with what you say. Grillo is a big disappointment. He spopped talking about the real 'issues' back in 1998. Since then has had the easiest job on earth.
He merely pointed out problems, rarely named the real culprit and managed to get away with it just because the Italian public is so painfully ignorant about every important issue that is worth discussing. Grillo is a comedian. A good one too. He should stick to what he knows best.

Piero Sanna

Rigged elections. Commies came to power illegally.

And what does Grillo talk about?

Previti.
Autostrade.
Himself (Corriere di Bologna).

Someone here even thinks Grillo is "impartial".

Hello Mr Chiametti!!

I totally agree with what you said on your post. However it's not the commercial banks that people should be wary of rather it's the central banking cartel that is the matrix of all evils. I am sick and tired to worry about the future and feel so hopelessly small in front of such established and consolidated financial powers. I think that a peaceful, legal and very smart monetary revolution is not only possible but also the only possible solution. Professor Thomas H Greco has come up with some pretty interesting ideas regarding this. All over the world new and independent monetary systems are sprouting out. Their success is never mentioned by the mass media because you perfectly know who owns and controls magazines, newspapers, radio and television in this world.
The Wir credit, the Trueque barter system, the mondragon cooperative association, are just some examples of independent forms of exchange.

True Freedom can only be achieved trough an independent monetary system.

Regardless of its form (paper, coins, plastic electronic impulse) money today can represent only 'credit'. Credit belongs to the commons. That's where the real fight lies. The reacquisition of the credit pool of the nations is paramount.

If we start to accept the fact that money is none other than a mere promise to pay, we will also understand that we can exchange goods and services without the use of 'interest bearing money' thanks to the mutual acceptance of credit.

I do sincerely hope that the people that hang around this blog will take the opportunity to get as much information as possible about the nature and function of money. It's not too late. We can get it back!!!!!!

Hello there,
I don’t mean to kick it when is down, although Italy right now is like a ship with no-one at the wheel.
That should and would be hard in half for any Country, but for Italy is even worst, due to the fact that these Incompetent Pinnacle of Corruption is not only leading the Country nowhere, but rather helping the mayhem, and stealing the Citizen powerless to do anything about it.
Financially the Country is as good as Bankrupt (Fact well established, and out of any EU parameter!) Political Parties are discredited, their Credibility is nonexistent, each and every Political figure is involved in one scandal or another.
As correctly stated by Mr. Sanna, the only thriving industries in Italy are the Banks!
These are the statistics:
1) Profits for 2006, 22 Billion (Absolute record ever!
2) Although Mr. Bersani deregulation did pass, the Banks are ignoring it, M1 rate went from 2% to 4%, on your deposit and savings hasn’t even budged, estimates varies although around 5 Billion of unlawful profits at your expense!
3) Two Italian Super banks were born, savings for You? None!
4) The Boards controlling Banks have doubled, called Dual System (Basically Management from the Combining Banks retain their chair, they are happy and you pay twice!)
Is too sad, to see this Country being sunk by such a bunch of Scum Bags and with such impunity.
Thanks for the opportunity.

Hello Piero!
I'm still alive but I'm busy around US.
I'll read those links if the hotel I'll be in will have a good wireless connection (complimentary in US and NOT 10Euros for 2 hours like in Italy).

In Illinois I got the Ipass with which I pay the tollway in the same state, plus a couple of states in New England because the same company owns the service.
Whenever anybody gets the transponder, the initial expense it's $15.00 for the transponder plus $40.00 in paid tolls which scales down automatically at every toll plaza.
After that initial expense I don't have to pay anymore for anything over the tolls.
So, you want to tell me that the Telepass is constantly charging its users for the transponder?
If so, the Italians deserve the Platinum Medal for the Mentally Retarded because this is robbery and anybody with a little bit of brain would just tell those people to go f**k themselves.

Hello there,
I would like to take this opportunity to say hello to Giovanni Principe,Mr Rossi, Eva Kulnura, Mr Chiametti etc. I see that many of you have deserted this blog for a long time manly because of Prof Mills and his pathetic posts.

First of all I would like to inform you that during these months I gathered a lot of new information about the issue of MONEY. It would be utterly useless to try to explain in one post the relevance and the nature of the information that I came across during this period of time. Let's just say that a lot is happening in a lot of different places. A real, practical and efficient solution exists. Some places have already implemented the monetary alternatives necessary to get rid of the greediness and injustice that is ruling and destroying the social fabric of this world. Most of these places are already reaping the benefits of their brave yet unavoidable choice. I will say no more and leave you with some of the most important links that to this day helped me to better understand what the real problems of modern society are. I regard the following links precious sources of information for anybody who is really interested in understanding the real nature, meaning and function of money. The acquisition of this knowledge will enable people to really understand why money lays at the heart of social life. Without this knowledge it would be impossible to have a round, unbiased and sound understanding of society in its entirety.

Please take up a little of your time and read and watch what the following sites and video presentations have to say and I promise
that money will be no longer a MISTERY to YOU.

Money will cease to be the master and become the servant of humanity

Caro Beppe
