Advertising always rings twice

My letter box is mine. It’s private property. I don’t want to pay the tax on refuse to get rid of advertising. Flyers, guides, catalogues, special offers. If I’m away from home for a week it mounts up to a couple of kilograms and my postbox gets jammed. There’s no more room. They leave the packages and letters from fans on the ground on the foot path. I’m thinking of training up a dog against abusive post people.
To resolve the problem it’s possible to put up a notice on the letter box. I’ll publish some on the blog. Put your ideas up on Flickr with the tag/title: Posta Pulita
Dear Beppe,
I have ascertained that about half the paper that I throw away every week (and that goes to clutter up the already difficult and costly process in the city of “recycling”) is not paper that is useful to me or that I really use!
Absurd, isn’t it? I want to explain better. 50% of the paper for which I pay the refuse disposal tax (the Tia/Tarsu) is commercial advertising and money-making activity for which the income goes exclusively to the advertising agency and not to me. Part of my refuse tax should thus be paid by them!
Every day enormous, bulky and unwanted brochures, newspapers, catalogues from IPERCOOP, PANORAMA, GIGLI, LEROY, MEDIAWORLD, ESSELUNGA, EMMELUNGA, MONDO CONVENIENZA, etc. that already by mid-morning have filled the letter box making it impossible among other things to use the letter container so that my own private post “overflows” so that utility bills and important letters fall out and thus anyone passing by could pick up important and personal information.
Some people have brought a court action and have won. Here’s the verdict given by the Justice of the Peace in Bari:
Unrequired Advertising and existential damage”. I believe that I have understood that it is enough to put a label or message on the letter box expressing our wish not to receive generic advertising that has not been asked for by the house owner. After that if the publicity agencies continue they are committing an offence and can immediately be asked for existential damages ( subjective moral damage and biological damage)
Let’s do it too! And each week in our towns and villages there will be fewer tons of paper and poisonous inks to be disposed of, one extra step towards the environmental culture and a step back from thermovalorising-incinerators.
I’m giving this particular quote from the Justice of the Peace: “the specific function for a letter box is to collect the correspondence addressed to the person named on it. That is the only legitimate person who can extend its use to other things, not excluding that of receiving any sort of advertising. Thus where the owner of the letter box has unequivocally expressed a wish to the contrary it is evident that no one can be allowed to behave in a way that goes against that wish.” Warm greetings” Fabio B.

To all the English speaking readers:
Now you can understand why Italy is going to shit.
It's because of those guys that don't follow the rules.
This blog is only an example of what kind of attitude reigns in Italy: nobody gives a shit and everybody looks for shorcuts just to get ahead of the guy in front of him.
This side of the blog has been made for English messages and there are still people who didn't understand it.
There are a lot of reasons for this and some could be that who still writes in Italian on this side of the blog could be:

1) Ignorant because still didn't realize that this side is dedicated to English speaking people

2) Stupid because despite discovering that this is the English version is still insisting to write in Italia

3) Demented because his/her mind in on the blink due to natural reasons.

Who wants to add more reasons to this sad list?

P.S.: To all of you English speaking readers: please keep on reading this blog because Beppe is doing a big to all of us by involving also as more people as he can also outside his Country.

Thank you Beppe.

che ce dole e ce da pena;
ed e’ proprio na sciagura.

Da quanno qua’ vorta
che s’encrociarno le scimmie
co er gene parassita
n’avra’ dette de bestemmie
er padreterno,
che la cosa j’anno’ storta
e nun j’e’ piu riuscita.
E’ la storia de la vita.

Certo che ce fu’ l’omo retto
e poi quello sapiente.
Ma come se spiega er fatto
ch’ er monno e sovrastato
de na razza puzzolente?!

Tutto anno’ a schifio
quanno l’omo retto
se fece dritto dritto,
astuto e poi furbetto,
dimentico de dio.

Te vie’ proprio da di’
“Porca Miseria”!
Piu ricca ....
e piu sporcacciona.
Viene proprio da li’,
fetente, la penuria
che comoda in poltrona
commisera miseria
e te cojona.

Mo che j’avemo dato tutto,
strade, telefoni, trasporti,
domani saranno l’aeroporti
e poi l’acqua, l’aria, er sole,
sinno’ so messi cosi’ male
che finiranno brutto.

Da ogni parte der potere,
borghesi tutti assieme,
Chiesa, Mafia, gerarchia,
fino alla Massoneria,
ossequiano la fame
che gira p’er quartiere,
co tale litania:

“Morti de fame semo
e ce ne vantamo
la fame che c’avemo
nun e’ quella che damo”.

E co la fame c’e’ la peste
de corpi opportunisti.
Sto microbo minuscolo
se ficca ne le fibbre
della societa’ civile,
se fa’ primo nella fila,
tale ar verme nella mela,
magna, beve, fa porcile...
e te fa veni’ la febbre
ch’e’ n’incubo pe’r muscolo.
E se mischia nei prospetti
delle file riformiste.

Esiste pure la variante
che se fa complice
de chi tortura e ammazza
e poi va a fa vola’
l’arcobaleno in piazza.
Appare assai felice
er genio psicofante.

Ma se dice pe la via
che l’omo cosciente
e’ sopravvissuto
a sta grave malattia
e mo c’ha l’anticorpi.

La parola gira e passa
che vo mette all’opera
l’affamati, tutti in massa,
L’hai capito?

E a chi je chiede:
ma come se fa’
a ammazza’ er tarlo,
la carie, er marcio vivo,
tutti assieme?

Dice che nun se fa’
co l’olio dell’ulivo
ma na dose de lavoro
a chi possiede.
Er resto e’ preventivo.
A la casta
resta da dije in coro
“punto e basta;
