fossi in te mi orienterei sul film sottile tandem, ha delle rese sicuramente inferiori al mono e poli, ma migliori dell'amorfo perchè con un doppio strato di silicio (il film sottile) riesce a captare più lunghezze d'onda.
Inoltre nell'arco dell'anno, è provato che rende circa il 10% in più del poli e mono, perchè lavora anche con luce diffusa, con ombre localizzate (la parte al sole lavora lo stesso, negli altri tipi viene inficiata tutta la stringa) e non abbatte le rese con le alte temperature estive (si può arrivare anche ai 75°C), inoltre per la costruzione impiega meno energia, e il costo al KWpicco è più basso. Il film sottile non ha vita breve, perchè viene usato come schermatura in tutti i pannelli mono e poli cristallino da quando ci sono.

Io valuterei anche il costo energetico di produzione, i pannalli in silicio mono e policristallino impiegano i primi 3-4 anni per generare l'energia utilizzata per costruirli, quelli in silicio amorfo hanno un costo energetico sicuramente inferiore e se ne possono trovare anche di costruiti in Europa, in Italia non ancora penso; è molto importante considerare anche il costo energetico del trasporto trattandosi di oggetti decisamente voluminosi.
Qualcuno ha risposto che con i policristallini occorre un inverter con trasformatore d'uscita, mi sfugge il motivo, forse che i policristallini producono una corrente continua "diversa" dai monocristallini?

Per condizione di installazione non ideale (orientamento ed inclinazione), nonchè in installazione totalmente integrate, quando lo spazio necessario non è un problema, l'utilizzo di pannelli al silicio amorfo è un ottima scelta. Anche da un punto di vista strettamente ambientale, la scelta del silicio amorfo è da preferire al silicio cristallino.
La garanzia dell'efficienza di rendimento nel tempo è del tutto analoga a quella dei pannelli al silicio cristallino.
Unica atenzione, i moduli Kaneka hanno forse una tolleranza un po alta (+/-10%), c'è di meglio...(Schueco, Mitsubishi...). L'inverter deve avere un trasformatore di isolamento che, per piccole potenze, ha un rendimento leggermente inferiore agli inverter senza trasformatori. Insomma per valutare un impianto nel suo complesso non basta considerare i soli pannelli, occore verificare il BOS (balance of system), che include anche il tipo di installazione, cavi, ecc...

Ti posso consigliare di rivolgerti solo a ditte specializzate (io sono di Rimni e costruirò il mio inpianto con la Ubisol) e non all'idraulico o con il fai da te. L'efficienza del pannello va proporzionata alla superficie dell'impianto (più è grande, meno può essere efficiente il pannello a parità di KW prodotti), e comunque mi sono reso conto che negli ultimi mesi l'efficienza dei pannelli è cresciuta costantemente ed il prezzo continua a scendere. L'impianto poi NON COSTA NULLA! Il GSE (ente governativo per l'energia) eroga un contributo ventennale proporzionato ai KW prodotti che copre abbondantemente il costo della rata mensile del mutuo. Ci sono ormai molte banche che hanno approntato linee di credito specifiche per il finanziamnto degli impianti fotovoltaici, ed è la stessa ditta costruttrice che te ne può fornire l'elenco. Passa parola.

io non monterei pannelli solari amorfi perche costano meno dei pannelli monocristallini e rendono ancora di meno e si esauriscono prima dei 20 anni alla fine spendi di piu.Ti posso suggerire il costo di 1 watt €4,00 il miglior pannello monocristallino e di 230 watt e misura metri 1,70x1,2 un impianto di buona qualita di kwatt 3 costa €19000,00 e li recuperi in 10 anni con gli incentivi europei

ti occupano solo più spazio, ma non si riduce l'efficienza se la temperatura sale troppo. Io non installerei più di 1KWp e punterei anche sul risparmio energetico ma non conosco i tuoi consumi. Considera che se hai anche un pannello solare per l'acqua calda ci puoi far andare lavatrice(coi modelli a doppio ingresso) e lavastoviglie risparmiando molta elettricità.
